Luke S. Kahng is the winner of the 2019 Dr. Kenneth Rudd Award from the American Prosthodontics Society, Luke Kahng is a world renowned master technician with more than thirty years of experience as a dental technician, and is the Owner and Director of Operations of LSK121 Oral Prosthetics. His state of the art laboratory allows him the ability to work daily with dentists nationwide to complete innovative, highly-esthetic, high-end restorations. Through his work he has developed a national and international following of nearly half a million YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Linked-In and Twitter followers. Luke's lectures have been presented both nationally and internationally, creating world-wide sales for his shade system and his various books, including Anatomy from Nature, Esthetic Guide Book, and Smile Selection Plus CS3 Clinical Cases. Additionally, Luke has published several articles in various dental journals since 2005, totaling in over 110 articles. The publications he has worked with are among the following: AACD, AAED, QDT, The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Inside Dentistry, Dentaltown, Dentistry Today, Compendium, PPAD, and JDT.

Through his passion for providing the most natural – looking and life-like restorations possible, he invented his own revolutionary shade guide system in 2009 to help dental professionals everywhere who struggle with shade matching and color. In 2010 he updated the system, finally creating his Ceramic Shade Guide system in 2012 which currently provides the most detailed shade tabs available for clear and succinct communication between dentists and laboratories regarding tooth shades and characteristics. In September 2022 Luke will be finally launching the LSK121 Seasons of Life Zirconia Shade guide system that will combine physical zirconia shade tabs with an innovative new Android and iOS application.

Due to the popularity he has gained, he now publishes daily across all social media including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked-In and more. His social media following has already grown to nearly half of a million followers.
